Meet the Doctors

Dr. Ali Alibakhshi holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, earned in 1982 from West Virginia University Institute of Technology. He went on to complete a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Tennessee in 1989. In 1997, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry. Dr. Alibakhshi furthered his clinical expertise by completing a residency in general practice at D.C. General Hospital. Since beginning his dental career in 1997, Dr. Alibakhshi has continually pursued advanced education in various dental specialties, including advanced implantology, neuromuscular dentistry, endodontics, Invisalign, and cosmetic dentistry, ensuring that he remains at the forefront of the field. Known for his compassionate approach and dedication to patient care, Dr. Alibakhshi prioritizes delivering the highest quality of service in a comfortable and understanding environment. He takes the time to truly listen to his patients’ concerns, offering clear, personalized treatment options for both routine and complex dental procedures. Dr. Alibakhshi fosters trust and care, making every visit a stress-free and positive experience for his patients.

Dr. Winnie Wong is originally from Germantown, Maryland. She attended the University of Maryland College Park and received her Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences. She continued her education at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where she pursued her interests and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After finishing dental school, she completed an advanced education general dentistry residency in Tampa, Florida which has provided her with additional training in all aspects of dentistry, including oral surgery, restorative, cosmetic dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and emergency treatment.
With a prevention-focused philosophy, Dr. Wong strives to help her patients meet their dental goals and maintain their oral health. She is proficient in all aspects of dentistry with an interest in cosmetic dentistry.

Outside of the office, Dr. Wong enjoys DIY home projects with her husband and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. Shilah Alibakhshi earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, before continuing her education at Howard University College of Dentistry, where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She is also certified in Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Filler treatments.

Driven by a deep passion for dentistry, she has devoted much of her career to volunteering with Remote Area Medical (RAM), offering dental care to underserved communities in areas such as Tennessee and Texas. Dr. Shilah is committed to providing dental care that embodies compassion, integrity, and respect. She takes the time to build strong, trusting relationships with each patient, working to alleviate the common fears and anxieties that often accompany dental treatment.

In her personal time, Dr. Shilah enjoys writing and watching movies.

Dr. Sara Alibakhshi earned her Bachelor of Science in Cell & Molecular Biology from Towson University before obtaining her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Howard University College of Dentistry. During her time at Howard, she demonstrated leadership as a Student Ambassador, Student Chair for the Admissions Committee, and Director of Community Service. Her academic excellence was recognized with the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honors Society, and she was honored as a Dental Trustee Scholar. She is also certified in Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Filler treatments.

Dr. Sara expanded her expertise through a postdoctoral program at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where she focused on addressing disparities in dental education and access to care, particularly for underserved and vulnerable populations in rural areas. Her training across Maryland, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire allowed her to contribute to the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center’s Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department. She is currently licensed to practice in both Maryland and New Hampshire.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Sara is a classically trained vocalist with a deep passion for singing Puccini arias. She enjoys spending time with her cat, Galadriel, and has a special love for horror films.
